System Requirements:

Any new computer from a major manufacturer (Toshiba, Sony, Dell, HP, etc.) that comes with the Windows operating system preinstalled will have more than enough capacity (hard disk space, memory, etc.) to run AristoCAT. If you are using or planning on using Bluetooth wireless with your writer, built-in Bluetooth is recommended, but not necessary.

In addition, any external device (i.e.: printers, CD\DVD drives, USB Flash drives supported by your computer and operating system) will work with AristoCAT. Most new computers will support AristoCAT's audio synchronization, but you will probably need an external microphone.

If you already have a computer, we recommend the following configuration:

• Personal Computer using an Intel, AMD or Windows compatible processor.
• 512 Mb (megabytes) of Random Access Memory (RAM)
• Any 32-bit Windows operating system including Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows XP (Home and Professional) and Vista (all versions, Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate).
• 100 Mb of available hard disk space for installation.
• 3.5" high density floppy disk drive (if your writer uses one).
• Serial port, Parallel or USB port (as required by your printer).
• AristoCAT can read and write to CDs, DVDs, USB Flash Drives and other external storage devices.

Note: For computers without a built-in serial port, the AristoCAT real-time software works with USB Serial Adapters and Bluetooth wireless devices.

Supported Printers:

Any printer supported by your Windows operating system will work with the AristoCAT software.
